By Yousra Bachine

Finally after six long years, Bad Gal RiRi is BACK!

Since the announcement of her participation in the Super Bowl finale in February 2023 – which made her fans go crazy, a new announcement has been released that has made her fans even more excited for her comeback.

She returns back to music for one of the most awaited movie releases. As far as we know, Rihanna has finally confirmed her involvement in the film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The movie Wakanda is the second movie of the Black Panther universe. This movie is set to be released for the 11th of November and expected to be watched by millions of fans across the world.

And right now, Rihanna fans are also anxiously anticipating the movie and especially its soundtrack. That will include one song by Rihanna titled “Lift Me Up.” Rihanna herself confirmed the news with a motion picture on Instagram. Since then, fans are excited and can not wait for the release and of course neither can we! Additionally to that, there are speculations of another song by Rihanna, titled “Born Again” although nothing is official as of yet.

The Barbadian artist is due to unveil the track on Friday, which will pay tribute to Chadwick Boseman, the actor in the first film who played King T’Challa who sadly passed away in 2020 from severe colon cancer.

It is all more symbolic for the fans of the movie that this song is linked to the first film, and we are sure Rihanna is going to pay tribute to the late actor as it should be.

It’s also a terrific method to make a return after six years away from singing, and here’s what the celebrity had to share about this unique song:

“After speaking with Ryan and hearing his direction for the film and the song, I wanted to write something that portrays a warm embrace from all the people that I’ve lost in my life. I tried to imagine what it would feel like if I could sing to them now and express how much I miss them,” she says in a statement quoted on Variety’s website.”

It’s important to note that Rihanna was managing other projects as well as a new-born. Since the release of her last album “Anti” in 2015, Rihanna launched cosmetics and lingerie brands, which made her a billionaire thanks to her brand Fenty Beauty and lingerie line Savage x Fenty. And now that we are finally witnessing her return to the music industry, we are incredibly excited for Rihanna’s future endeavours.
